Assistant Manager – Equity Settlement & Valuation

About the role

The Assistant Manager will ensure accurate accounting, settlement and valuation of equity securities across multiple portfolios. The role involves preparing management information systems (MIS) reports, coordinating with auditors and various internal departments, and supporting periodic financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute timely equity settlement on STP, including coordination with brokers, dealers and custodians.
• Maintain equity and broker master data, perform MTM valuation of equity portfolios, and track corporate actions.
• Conduct daily checks of debt valuation and accounting to guarantee NAV accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports in line with IRDA, Schedule VI and IFRS, and generate daily, monthly and yearly MIS for management and audit purposes.
• Support project testing and implementation activities as required.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of equity settlement processes and multi‑system interfaces.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines for settlement, accounting and reporting.
• Experience coordinating with auditors, tax, actuarial and other finance functions.
