Assistant Manager - Civil Projects

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead civil project execution across multiple plant facilities. The role involves supervising site works, coordinating with engineering, and ensuring quality, safety and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor civil works such as foundations for TG & Boiler, chimney, cooling tower, bunker, mill bay, ESP, FGD, pump houses, reservoirs, water treatment plants, roads, drains, landscaping and boundary structures.
• Supervise daily contractor activities, track manpower, machinery and material usage, and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Review civil and construction drawings, BOQs, and support quantity validation and material take‑offs.
• Implement QAP/ITP, conduct inspections of shuttering, reinforcement and concrete, and manage NCRs and punch‑list closure.
• Prepare progress reports, micro‑schedules, and highlight risks or resource gaps.
• Coordinate surveying, leveling and setting‑out using Total Station, Auto Level and Theodolite.
• Maintain documentation such as RFI logs, test results and measurement books, and assist in contractor billing.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Experience supervising civil construction works and contractor management.
• Familiarity with Indian civil codes (IS/IRC) and quality assurance procedures.
