About the role

The Assistant Clinical Nurse supports patient care in a hospital or clinical setting, assisting senior nurses and healthcare teams with day‑to‑day nursing activities. The role involves direct interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure high‑quality care and accurate medical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing qualification.
• Academic record with first division in 10th, 12th, and nursing degree.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience, including patient assessment and care planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.
