About the role
The Assistant Chef will support the culinary team in delivering a diverse range of Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes across our hotel, club, cruise or restaurant outlets. You will work closely with senior chefs to ensure all food is prepared to the company’s standards of quality, presentation and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, chop and store ingredients according to recipes and yield guides.
- Cook menu items—including vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes and beverages—while maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
- Set up and maintain work stations with appropriate stock levels and ensure clean storage of all products.
- Assist in inventory management, timely replenishment and implementation of waste‑reduction practices.
- Prepare alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks for bars and restaurants.
- Interact with guests, take orders and gather feedback to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, excise and other regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Hospitality graduate or diploma in hospitality.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in hotel, club, cruise ship or restaurant kitchens.
- Strong knowledge of Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines and related beverage menus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management abilities.
- Willingness to relocate anywhere in northern India.
