Assembly Technician (0-2 yrs) – EV Charger Production

About the role

We are a fast‑growing startup developing electric vehicle (EV) chargers. We seek a motivated Assembly Technician to join our production floor in Bengaluru. The role offers hands‑on experience across mechanical, electrical and electronic assembly, under the guidance of senior technicians and the Production Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical enclosures, brackets, panels and structural sub‑assemblies following visual SOPs.
• Apply correct torque values using calibrated torque wrenches and power screwdrivers.
• Perform fitment checks on sheet‑metal enclosures, cable entry points and hardware installations.
• Install cable management hardware such as trays, glands, bushings and strain‑reliefs.
• Route and dress wiring harnesses, crimp ferrules and pin terminals, and label cables per BOM.
• Observe HV safety protocols, LOTO procedures and proper PPE usage.
• Handle PCBs and control modules, mount them on chassis or DIN rails, and conduct visual inspections for damage or missing components.
• Maintain ESD discipline throughout the production floor.
• Assist in rework tasks, use a digital multimeter for continuity and voltage checks, and support disassembly when required.

Required profile

• Completed ITI in Electrician, Mechanical, Fitter or Electronic Mechanic from a recognised board.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English or Hindi.
• Willingness to work onsite and follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
