Art Inventory Controller & Registrar

About the role

Nature Morte is seeking an Inventory Controller/Registrar to manage the full lifecycle of its physical and digital art collection. The role ensures every artwork is accurately catalogued, tracked, and preserved across exhibitions, storage, consignments, and loans.

Key responsibilities

• Add and update artwork records in the Artlogic database for new acquisitions, exhibitions, and consignments.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against provided lists and reconcile inventory changes in real time.
• Correct missing or inaccurate data such as dimensions, condition reports, edition details, and signature locations.
• Upload high‑resolution images, installation photographs, videos, and signed Certificates of Authenticity.
• Mark sales, reserves, and location changes promptly; conduct monthly reconciliations with the sales team.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper handling, condition reporting, and storage of artworks.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and meticulous record‑keeping abilities.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with curatorial, sales, and logistics teams.
• Experience in managing art inventories or similar collections.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Artlogic database management.
