Area Sales Manager – Safety Gloves & PPE

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will be based in Panaji and will lead sales activities for safety gloves and PPE solutions across the assigned territory. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on expanding the customer base, strengthening distributor relationships, and achieving revenue targets in key industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region.
• Manage and grow relationships with distributors and major industrial clients.
• Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations, and technical demonstrations.
• Negotiate contracts, coordinate pricing, and close sales deals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide actionable feedback to management.
• Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and maintain accurate CRM data.
• Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and production teams to ensure timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B or industrial product sales, preferably in PPE or safety equipment.
• Strong territory management, client relationship building, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand technical product specifications and convey value propositions to industrial customers.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working independently while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of the Indian industrial landscape and familiarity with sectors such as automotive, steel, glass, tyre or pharma is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
