Area Sales Manager – Power Tools (Maharashtra)

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Area Sales Manager to lead the Power Tools business in Maharashtra. You will be responsible for driving sales growth through direct dealers and sub‑dealers, ensuring strong market presence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales for Blue tools, MT & HG product lines across the assigned territory.
• Develop, maintain and expand relationships with direct dealers and sub‑dealers, providing optimal service and support.
• Conduct systematic dealer visits, plan follow‑up actions and convert prospects into active partners.
• Enhance the performance and quality of existing channel partners.
• Lead product initiatives such as new launches and cordless solutions.
• Optimize turnover and gross margin through effective product mix management.
• Support dealers in using the B2B portal and digital tools to improve business results.
• Implement central marketing activities and collaborate with user and retail marketing teams.
• Gather competitive intelligence and market trends to inform strategy.
• Identify opportunities to expand product placement in primary and secondary channels.

Required profile

• Engineer or MBA degree.
• 4–8 years of experience in trade (dealer/distributor) sales.
• Strong understanding of the market and related product categories.
• Working knowledge of distribution business models.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in the local language.
• Proven negotiation abilities.
