Area Sales Manager – POS & CBSF

About the role

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) for POS & CBSF will lead the distribution sales of SBI Card products across an assigned geography. Reporting to senior leadership, the ASM oversees a large team of NFTEs, including Relationship Executives, Tele‑Sales Agents, Relationship Managers and support staff, driving sales through point‑of‑sale (POS) channels and co‑branded partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of 50‑120 NFTEs spread across the region.
• Coordinate with the Workforce Enablement function for hiring, training and placement of resources based on skill‑set requirements.
• Ensure compliance of PSA sites with internal audit guidelines.
• Manage open‑market distribution points and co‑brand tie‑ups, guaranteeing cost‑effective delivery.
• Monitor competitor activities and align sourcing strategies to capture new distribution opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large sales teams in a distribution or retail environment.
• Strong coordination skills with cross‑functional teams for recruitment and training.
• Ability to manage compliance and audit requirements for multiple sites.
• Experience handling POS channels, co‑branding partnerships and market expansion initiatives.
