Area Sales Manager - Display Electronics

About the role

3M’s Display & Electronics Product Platform team in India is expanding its sales footprint across the country’s fast‑growing display electronics sector. The Area Sales Manager will lead business development and sales activities for key market segments, covering multiple states with a high concentration of display‑electronics manufacturing. This role works closely with product and engineering teams to deliver differentiated 3M solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development, strategic planning and sales for focus market segments within display electronics.
• Manage sales activities across assigned territories in India, covering several high‑density manufacturing states.
• Generate and convert incremental sales opportunities for both existing and new accounts.
• Maintain and grow the sales pipeline while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and request assistance for complex or high‑impact situations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales within electronics manufacturing, preferably display electronics.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives and grow accounts.
• Strong capability to manage a defined sales territory with minimal supervision.
• Excellent understanding of the Indian display electronics ecosystem.
