About the role

The Area Sales Head will lead the mortgage and loan business for the Meerut region, driving growth through acquisition of new customers and deepening relationships with existing ones. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for building a robust distribution network and achieving targeted yields and fees.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the mortgage loan portfolio in the assigned territory.
  • Identify, empanel and activate retail Distribution Sales Agents (DSAs) by providing training and ongoing support.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with builders, local partners and ABG group companies to generate cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis to tailor loan structures to local preferences and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure thorough due‑diligence on all applications to prevent fraud and comply with internal and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in sales or relationship management within the mortgage, banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong network in the Meerut region and ability to engage retail partners.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on meeting targets.
