Area HR Lead

About the role

The Area HR Lead will oversee all human‑resource functions across a defined geographic region for Reliance Jio. Reporting to senior HR leadership, the role ensures compliance, smooth employee experiences and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain basic HR hygiene and support the Industrial Relations team on compliance matters.
• Drive HR operations to deliver a seamless employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off‑boarding.
• Monitor and report HR KPIs, ensuring regular cadence and accountability.
• Lead performance management, rewards, and employee retention initiatives within the assigned geography.
• Execute employee engagement programs within budget and identify high‑performing talent for career progression.
• Build talent pools for critical roles through market mapping and internal talent identification.
• Visit Jio centres and points of presence to understand operational challenges and propose HR‑focused solutions.
• Manage regional recruitment, balancing source mix, turnaround time and quality standards.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a large, fast‑moving organization.
• Master’s degree or postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Functional HR knowledge covering compliance, performance management, rewards, and employee engagement.
• Ability to manage HR metrics and drive process improvements.
