Architect – Residential & Commercial Projects

About the role

DekorAakar is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Architect to join its Guwahati office. You will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors and vendors to shape residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and detailed design drawings.
• Prepare and deliver design presentations for client approval.
• Conduct site visits, measurements and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce and review construction documents ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Monitor project progress, support material selection and maintain design quality throughout all phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; licensure or pursuit of licensure is a plus.
• Strong foundation in architectural design, space planning and integration with structural, MEP and interior design requirements.
• Familiarity with local building codes, standards and permitting processes in Guwahati or similar jurisdictions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and client‑facing abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple on‑site projects and deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD/BIM software.
• Experience in 3D modeling.
• Ability to use rendering software for visualisation.
