Architect – Manufacturing & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Architect to lead design work on manufacturing, infrastructure and data‑center projects across India. The role is based in Gurugram and involves full‑time office and project work, supporting both national and international initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and supervise calculations, material and service requisitions, code analysis, and quantity take‑offs.
• Prepare technical specifications, standard details and provide input for design drawings throughout all project phases.
• Review and check drawings produced by design teams.
• Develop basic layout drawings and lead conceptual studies and interdisciplinary reviews.
• Create visual perspectives and presentations for clients.
• Deliver technical training to project staff.
• Conduct feasibility studies for site development, building configuration and climate considerations.

Required profile

• 5‑year degree in Architecture from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred).
• 8‑10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, infrastructure and data‑center projects.
• Professional architectural license and/or LEED certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to produce architectural presentations.
