Architect – Concept Development & Design Delivery

About the role

YD Design is expanding its Bangalore studio and seeks an experienced architect to lead concept development and design delivery across residential, mixed‑use, high‑rise, hospitality and commercial projects. You will translate ideas into compelling architectural proposals while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concept and schematic design for diverse project typologies.
• Drive projects from brief, research and ideation through presentations and design proposals.
• Create architectural drawings, models, presentations and visual narratives.
• Mentor junior architects and uphold studio‑wide design quality.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and internal teams to meet project objectives.
• Contribute to design research, competitions, proposals and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with a strong design portfolio.
• Proven experience on residential, mixed‑use, commercial, hospitality or high‑rise projects.
• Strong design thinking, project ownership and communication skills.

Required skills

• Mandatory proficiency in Rhino.
• Working knowledge of InDesign, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, D5 and V‑Ray.
