Applied Computer Vision Engineer - Data Driven Development

About the role

The Applied Computer Vision Engineer will join Bosch’s feature team in Bangalore, building the data infrastructure that powers advanced perception systems. You will design and scale cloud‑native pipelines that support the development, training and evaluation of next‑generation computer‑vision models.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines and Azure‑based workflows for computer‑vision applications.
• Architect efficient database schemas and end‑to‑end pipelines to handle millions of images.
• Develop and automate training and evaluation pipelines using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Integrate ML pipelines with Azure Blob Storage and Azure ML Compute.
• Monitor data quality, optimise performance and document system architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 6–10 years of professional experience in data engineering or MLOps.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Azure services (AzureML, Blob Storage, ML Compute).
• Proficiency in Python and containerisation with Docker.
• Hands‑on knowledge of data orchestration tools such as Databricks or Ray.
• Experience building computer‑vision pipelines using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux environments and CI/CD practices.
