Applied AI Architect (Member of Applied AI)

About the role

DevRev is looking for a senior Applied AI Architect to lead end‑to‑end AI‑driven business transformation projects. You will act as the technical bridge between pre‑sales, post‑sales, and engineering teams, turning customer requirements into scalable, agent‑based AI solutions on the DevRev platform.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers (≈80% of time) to gather requirements and design AI agents.
• Build, configure, and launch intelligent agents, integrating them with external systems such as CRMs, APIs, and databases.
• Develop proofs‑of‑concept, custom integrations, and prototypes to validate technical feasibility.
• Lead project planning, coordinate internal teams, and ensure timely delivery of deployments.
• Optimize prompts, logic, and agent configurations for accuracy, reliability, and scalability.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, or technical consulting.
• Strong customer‑facing background with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Required skills

• TypeScript, JavaScript, Python (and optionally Go).
• Large Language Models, prompt engineering, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, function calling.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Modern DevOps practices: CI/CD, containers, observability.
• API integration, webhooks, event/data pipelines.
• Data structures, algorithms, A/B testing, telemetry, metrics.
