Android Developer

About the role

Codewalla is seeking an Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality, scalable mobile applications. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhance existing Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services such as Firebase, Google Maps, and push‑notification platforms.
• Optimize app performance, manage offline storage, and ensure reliability across devices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver production‑grade releases.
• Maintain clean, testable code following Android best practices and modern architecture patterns.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Experience building and maintaining production‑grade Android apps.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, Android Profiler, and architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or VIPER.
• Hands‑on experience with SQLite, offline storage solutions, and mobile data management.
• Ability to write maintainable, testable code and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
