Analyst - Penetration Testing Engagement

About the role

The Penetration Testing Squad at ANZ safeguards the bank by proactively identifying cyber security risks. As an Analyst focused on penetration testing engagements, you will ensure that testing activities are well‑planned, coordinated, tracked and reported across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end penetration testing engagements across ANZ’s technology landscape.
• Partner with security, engineering and application teams to plan and schedule testing activities.
• Track engagement progress, deliverables, risks, dependencies and remediation outcomes.
• Act as the primary liaison between penetration testers, stakeholders and technology teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Prepare and communicate status updates, dashboards, metrics and reports to leadership.
• Monitor remediation tracking to ensure identified findings are addressed.
• Maintain accurate records of engagements, findings, exceptions and risk‑treatment activities.
• Support governance and assurance activities related to penetration testing and security assessments.
• Identify and drive improvements in processes, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
