Analyst I, Cybersecurity

About the role

We are looking for an Analyst I in Cybersecurity to join our innovative team at a leading global financial technology provider. The role focuses on implementing and managing security controls, investigating threats, and supporting the user community to maintain a robust security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Execute security controls to prevent unauthorized access and protect company information.
• Research attempted compromises, analyze findings, and recommend remediation solutions.
• Maintain security systems, administer access‑control policies, and manage the corporate firewall.
• Utilize encryption methods and other security technologies to safeguard data.
• Create and maintain information‑security documentation and fulfill related requests.
• Respond to security‑related inquiries using established tools and procedures.
• Resolve security incidents and follow through to closure.
• Implement and administer security controls via software and vendor solutions.
• Identify workflow improvement opportunities, quantify business impact, and communicate plans to management.
• Interface with the user community to understand security needs, implement procedures, and ensure compliance.
• Provide status reports and contribute to risk‑analysis scenarios and response plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Knowledge of network technologies, including protocols, design concepts, and access control.
• Understanding of security technologies such as encryption, data protection, and privileged‑access management.
• Familiarity with network design and engineering principles.
• Strong time‑management, communication, decision‑making, and presentation skills.
• Ability to plan, report, set goals, and prioritize tasks.
• Basic to intermediate problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience building and maintaining productive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
