AML OPS Analyst (AML QC)

About the role

Gratitude India is looking for an experienced AML OPS Analyst (AML QC) with 10+ years of experience in anti-money laundering operations. The role centres on reviewing AML alerts, analysing transactions and ensuring compliance with AML regulations. It is based in Chennai and is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Review AML alerts generated through FCRM systems.
• Analyse customer transactions and account activity to identify suspicious patterns.
• Perform customer profile verification and transaction analysis.
• Conduct investigations using internal and external data sources.
• Review 30-day account activity and document investigation findings with clear rationale.
• Identify AML red flags such as structuring, high-risk transactions and unusual customer behaviour.
• Decide whether alerts can be closed or escalated for further investigation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update FCRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, OFAC, AML regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support AML investigations and quality control.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in AML Operations or AML QC.
• Location: Bangalore or Chennai.
• Work authorization: H1B, OPT, Green Card or US citizen.
• PAN card and date of birth are mandatory for profile creation; ex-TCS employees cannot apply.
