Aide à domicile – Assistance à la personne

About the role

The Home Care Assistant supports individuals living at home by helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide daily personal care, household assistance, and social support to vulnerable clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, comfort, and dressing.
• Perform routine household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, window washing, and meal preparation.
• Accompany clients to grocery shopping and help with food procurement.
• Collaborate closely with nurses and psycho‑social aides to coordinate care.
• Identify urgent situations, note points of fragility, and relay information to the service team.
• Promote social interaction and help prevent maltreatment of vulnerable persons.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma (e.g., Auxiliaire de Vie Sociale, certificate for home assistance, BEP in health‑social careers).
• Field experience preferred.
• Valid driving licence B is desirable.
• Organised, punctual, discreet and readily available.
• Strong relational and listening abilities, respecting client privacy and integrity.
