AI Engineer – Build Agentic Pipelines

About the role

Lynx Analytics is expanding its agentic AI capabilities and seeks an AI Engineer to join the Pune team. You will work closely with senior engineers to design, implement, and maintain production‑grade AI pipelines that power client‑facing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain agentic pipelines, including tool orchestration and multi‑step reasoning workflows.
• Implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines: embedding, chunking, vector retrieval, and evaluation.
• Contribute to memory and context layers by integrating vector databases and knowledge‑graph components.
• Write clean, well‑tested Python code, participate in code reviews, and ensure robust version control.
• Debug and optimise existing AI systems based on production feedback and evaluation metrics.
• Collaborate with data engineers and domain experts to connect AI components with upstream data sources and downstream applications.
• Document implementations and help improve internal tooling.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of software or machine‑learning engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on work with large language models (LLMs) or AI systems.
• Ability to work overlapping with Pacific Time business hours for a minimum of 3 hours per day.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional and client‑facing work.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Familiarity with agentic or RAG frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of vector databases and embedding‑based search.
• Understanding of REST APIs, version control (Git), and software testing.
