AI Applications Engineer

About the role

Join Five9’s Enterprise‑AI team to build and operate the foundational AI platform that powers internal and customer‑facing solutions. You will ensure the platform is secure, reliable, and production‑grade while staying current with fast‑moving AI infrastructure trends.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate the AI platform on the cloud, ensuring production‑grade security and reliability.
• Provision infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage containers with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security gates.
• Implement model and agent runtimes, versioning, and evaluation for MLOps/LLMOps workloads.
• Develop secure data connectors, integration pipelines, and governance guardrails.
• Provide observability, monitoring, logging and incident response for platform reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, infrastructure or MLOps engineering.
• Hands‑on experience operating production cloud systems, preferably Google Cloud.
