Agent Reconciliation Associate

About the role

The Agent Reconciliation Associate ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions between Global University Systems and its agents. This role involves daily reconciliation of agent statements, resolving discrepancies, and supporting timely settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile agent accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies in agent statements or payments.
• Coordinate with agents and internal teams to resolve reconciliation issues promptly.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reconciliation reports and supporting documentation.
• Assist in the settlement process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
• Support audits by providing necessary records and explanations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance reconciliation efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in reconciliation, accounting, or finance roles preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines applicable to financial transactions is an advantage.
• Experience working with large datasets and financial records.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with reconciliation tools.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or Oracle.
