Accountant – Travel & Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to manage day‑to‑day financial operations for The Saint Holidays, a travel brand specializing in domestic and international tours. The role involves maintaining accurate records, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with GST and other statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
• Process vendor invoices, customer payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Ensure GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
• Assist with payroll processing and preparation of financial reports.
• Liaise with management, auditors and cross‑functional teams to resolve financial queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in travel, hospitality or service sectors.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Zoho Books or Odoo.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace for collaboration.
• Ability to generate financial reports and perform reconciliations.
