Accountant – Tax Consulting Firm

About the role

The firm is seeking a full‑time Accountant to join its Kozhikode office. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and supporting the tax consulting team with compliance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post financial transactions, maintain ledgers and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Assist in tax computations, filings and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Provide accurate financial data for client reports and support audit processes.
• Help with budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring and maintain organized financial records in line with firm policies.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in general accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Experience with business tax calculations and documentation.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; professional certifications (CA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset and effective communication skills.
• Prior exposure to tax consulting or public accounting environments is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting ERP systems or other accounting software.
