Accountant – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑obsessed Accountant to support the financial health of two fast‑moving entities in the UAE and Singapore. Reporting to the Chief of Staff and working closely with a fractional CFO, you will own day‑to‑day bookkeeping and cash‑flow management on a fully remote basis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑currency bank reconciliations and month‑end manual journal entries.
• Manage accounts receivable, including professional collections via email, WhatsApp or phone.
• Maintain general bookkeeping across both entities using Xero.
• Prepare accruals, pre‑payments and other month‑end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE e‑invoicing and data‑privacy standards.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of bookkeeping or accounts administration experience, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong command of Xero for bank reconciliations, invoicing, manual journals and multi‑org management.
• Proven track record in AR collections and comfortable communicating with clients across multiple channels.
• Excellent written and spoken English, self‑managed and highly organized.
• Trustworthy handling of sensitive financial data.
