Accountant – Kannod, Madhya Pradesh

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our client’s finance team in Kannod, Madhya Pradesh. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily transactions using Tally and maintain ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, prepare invoices and payment vouchers.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with GST data preparation, filing, and compliance.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and management summaries.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and management as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field; additional accounting certifications are a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally.
• Basic understanding of GST, taxation, bookkeeping, and financial accounting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
