Accountant – Full-time (On-site) in Pune

About the role

Koorsi & Company is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations for its growing furniture brand. You will maintain accurate financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and provide timely financial reporting to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Record day‑to‑day accounting entries for offline and online sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
• Handle GST filing, monthly reconciliations and other statutory compliance.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements and periodic financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash‑flow statements.
• Reconcile accounts, ensure timely invoice payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Coordinate yearly audits with external auditors.
• Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and update inventory records.
• Process employee reimbursements, salary payments and other payroll‑related transactions.
• Support management with financial analysis and MIS reporting while safeguarding data confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) – minimum 70% preferred.
• CA Inter or CMA qualification is a plus.
• 2‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably in engineering or construction.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and tax regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tally ERP or SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
