Accountant – Financial Reporting & Taxation

About the role

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, conducting cyclical audits, and must possess strong interpersonal skills and business acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation & finalisation of accounts (Balance Sheet, P&L)
• GST filing, reconciliation & ledger matching
• TDS computation & quarterly return filing
• Income tax computation, working papers & documentation
• Year‑end closing, provisions, adjustments & audit schedules
• Coordination with statutory auditors
• Review of ledgers, vendor/customer accounts & reconciliations
• Support in compliance, documentation & financial reporting

Required profile

• CA or CA Inter qualification with 2–5 years of experience (industry or CA firm)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and finalisation
• Hands‑on experience with Tally Prime or similar accounting software
• Ability to independently manage compliance and deadlines
• Good analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of accounting standards
