Accountant – Financial Operations (Bhuj)

About the role

The Accountant will be based on‑site in Bhuj and will handle the day‑to‑day financial operations of a mining and export company. This full‑time position involves managing bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries and perform bank reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow and manage vendor payments.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with budgeting and cost analysis.
• Handle inventory‑related accounting for mineral products and support cost accounting activities.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements and audit procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments, provide documentation for audits and help improve financial processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field; professional certification (CA, CMA) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities and capacity to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with operations, management and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bhuj and uphold high standards of integrity and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
