Accountant – Construction Finance

About the role

The Accountant will be based in Delhi and will handle the day‑to‑day financial operations of Jena Plumbing System’s construction projects. This full‑time, on‑site position involves recording transactions, maintaining ledgers and ensuring accurate financial information for project and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions, maintain general ledgers and prepare invoices and receipts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements and track project expenses.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control and financial reporting for construction projects.
• Support tax and regulatory compliance, coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Collaborate with project, procurement and management teams to provide accurate financial data.

Required profile

• Strong core accounting skills including GL management, AP/AR and bank reconciliation.
• Experience or exposure to project‑based or construction accounting, budgeting and cost analysis.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Indian taxation, compliance and regulatory requirements for construction businesses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field; CA/CPA certification is a plus.
