Account Manager – Technical Sales (Water Treatment)

About the role

Join Nalco Water’s industry‑leading sales team as an Account Manager, driving revenue and profit growth for water‑treatment programs and services. You will use a consultative approach to build strong relationships with existing customers and convert strategic accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and execute sales plans for existing and competitively‑held accounts to meet profit targets.
• Collaborate with customers to understand business needs and propose continuous‑improvement and innovation plans.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including plant and facility executives.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot challenges, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Perform system analysis, interpret data, and deliver written recommendations for optimal operations.
• Promote and sell Nalco Water innovations and technologies to strengthen long‑term partnerships.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences.
• 5+ years of successful technical or field sales experience, preferably in water treatment or specialty chemicals.
• Experience with industry processes such as boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems is an asset.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and stay self‑motivated.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of water‑treatment processes, boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
