About the role
The Account Manager I promotes and sells Charles River’s products and services within an assigned geographic area or customer segment. The role develops profitable business with new and existing customers, introduces new offerings, and builds lasting relationships to meet revenue targets.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and sell the organization’s products and services to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop profitable business with new and existing customers.
- Oversee sales expansion, introduce new products/services, and organize client visits.
- Pursue sales leads, assess customer needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Respond to enquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times within authority, and close sales orders.
- Identify, research, and contact prospective customers to generate future sales and repeat business.
