Account Manager – Government & Central Sales

About the role

The Account Manager – Government & Central will drive sales of Philips imaging products within a defined territory, managing relationships with distributors, dealers, physicians and end‑users. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market share and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales to a defined region and achieve pre‑defined sales volumes and profit goals.
• Maintain market information and knowledge to secure targeted market share for assigned product categories.
• Improve sales at existing customers and increase customer satisfaction.
• Develop business relationships with medical distributors, dealers, physicians and hospital authorities to expand market presence.
• Keep up‑to‑date records of distributor sales activities and support dealers to meet sales objectives.
• Monitor competition and market trends, providing regular updates to management.

Required profile

• Any graduate (preferably BE or science degree); MBA/PGDM preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in clinical diagnostics sales, government or corporate accounts, or public‑private partnerships.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing B2C or government accounts.
• Strong knowledge of imaging products and the healthcare market.
