Welder III

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking an experienced Welder III to join its fabrication team. You will be responsible for producing high‑quality welded components for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and oil & gas projects, ensuring compliance with strict industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, SMAW or other required processes.
• Handle carbon steel, alloy steel (P91/F91) and stainless steel materials.
• Execute critical‑position welds such as 6G and 2G with high precision.
• Interpret WPS/PQR documents, technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Prepare fit‑up and edge preparation, set up equipment and materials.
• Inspect welded joints for compliance and perform finishing tasks (grinding, cutting, polishing).
• Maintain welding tools, follow safety protocols and document work performed.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred.
• 6–10 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of welding processes, materials and safety standards.
