Vulnerability Assessment Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a Contractor to join Altisource’s incubated software technology team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities across applications, systems and networks, supporting the launch of a new product concept.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments for applications, systems and networks using commercial and open‑source tools.
• Communicate findings and remediation actions to internal teams and validate fixes.
• Perform code reviews to uncover hidden vulnerabilities and support secure development practices.
• Create assessment reports and present metrics to management.
• Assist with regular penetration testing and develop internal automation tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6‑8 years of experience in vulnerability assessment and security testing.
• Relevant certifications such as GIAC or CEH.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Vulnerability scanning tools: Qualys, Nessus, Nexpose, Saint.
• Web application scanners: IBM AppScan, HP WebInspect, Acunetix, Burp Suite Pro.
• Static analysis tools: IBM AppScan Source, HP Fortify.
• Programming languages: Java, C, C++.NET (C#, VB).
