About the role
AFRY is seeking experienced FPGA developers to join its product development and IT operations in Pune. The role involves leading FPGA design efforts across telecom, automotive, medical and defense projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop FPGA code using VHDL, Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
- Perform FPGA timing analysis and floorplanning.
- Work with Xilinx (Vivado, ISE) or Intel/Altera (Quartus) tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on telecom, automotive, medical and defense projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of FPGA development experience.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Demonstrated proactivity, teamwork and initiative.
Required skills
- VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog programming.
- FPGA timing analysis and floorplanning.
- Experience with Xilinx Vivado, ISE or Intel Quartus tools.
- Scripting in Python and Tcl.
