Software Engineer – WiFi Embedded

About the role

Arista Networks is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Wi‑Fi Access Point team in Pune. The role focuses on developing next‑generation embedded Wi‑Fi solutions that power cloud‑managed networking products.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather product requirements, design solutions, implement software, and deliver validated code for customer deployment.
• Monitor emerging Wi‑Fi technologies, propose innovative features, and work with sales and support to address customer needs and resolve escalations.
• Develop new Access Point hardware and software, integrate system‑level Wi‑Fi functionalities, and ensure performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong computer science fundamentals with 6–15 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and extensive experience developing in a Linux environment, including driver or user‑space applications.
