Tax Accountant – Global Indirect Tax Compliance

About the role

The Tax Accountant is a key member of Mozarc Medical’s Global Finance and Tax organization. You will manage indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and act as the primary liaison between country finance leaders and external tax advisors. The role requires strong technical knowledge of GST, VAT, sales & use tax and the ability to work independently from India.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end indirect tax compliance (GST, VAT, sales & use tax) for multiple countries.
• Coordinate with external consultants and internal finance teams to ensure timely, accurate filings.
• Serve as the single point of contact for global indirect tax matters originating from India.
• Review tax returns, supporting schedules and advisory outputs prepared by consultants.
• Track regulatory changes, assess business impact and maintain a global compliance calendar.
• Support tax audits, assessments and notices related to indirect taxes.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–4 years of core indirect tax experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm.
• Experience supporting multi‑country indirect tax compliance in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills with a deadline‑driven mindset.
