Sourcing Recruiter – Talent Acquisition

About the role

Amazon’s North American Operations recruiting team is looking for a Sourcing Recruiter to identify and engage top talent for distribution and operations roles across the United States. The role focuses on building pipelines of passive candidates and delivering high‑quality talent to hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X‑ray and other web‑based techniques.
• Conduct in‑depth interviews and phone screens to assess fit, motivation and technical alignment.
• Maintain and grow a network of potential candidates through market research and relationship management.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand preferences and achieve high offer‑to‑interview ratios.
• Track deliverables, timelines and metrics, and continuously improve recruiting processes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume searches and meet service level agreements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑service mindset.
• Experience prioritizing workloads, providing push‑back when needed, and delivering results in a fast‑paced environment.
