Software Development Engineer II – Alexa Endpoint Experiences

About the role

Join the Alexa Devices team that created the Echo Show and other high‑profile consumer electronics. As a Software Development Engineer II you will build innovative speech‑backed visual experiences for screened Alexa devices such as Echo Show and Echo Spot.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new systems that power visual Alexa experiences.
• Collaborate with Amazon services, third‑party partners, and device teams to ensure low‑latency, reliable interactions.
• Work on device frameworks, web services, APIs, and large‑scale data infrastructure.
• Invent novel Android‑based experiences and define product direction with UX and product owners.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for building cutting‑edge software around user interfaces, cross‑device APIs, or cloud services.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality software at Amazon scale.
