Software Application Architect – S2P, I2D & O2C

About the role

We are looking for a Software Application Architect to lead the design and delivery of solutions in the Source‑to‑Pay, Intralogistics‑to‑Demand and Order‑to‑Cash streams for Bosch’s digital transformation. The role is based in Coimbatore and will work closely with consultants, architects and business stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, performant software that aligns with Bosch’s “Keep the Core Clean” principles.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end delivery of stream deliverables, ensuring quality, performance and timely release.
• Define and enforce architectural decisions, maintaining a clean core and managing technical debt.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate a team of developers to maximise productivity and alignment.
• Ensure code is documented, traceable, testable and ready for deployment and support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, consultants and other architects to translate functional specs into scalable solutions.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle – design, implementation, testing and deployment.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as an SAP Technical Expert, with at least 2 years on S/4 HANA projects.
• Proven track record of leading development streams in an Agile, sprint‑based environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to mentor junior developers.

Required skills

• SAP S/4 HANA development (ABAP, RAP, Fiori/UI5, CDS, BAdIs, BTP services, OO).
• Integration technologies (OData, IDocs, RFC, APIs, middleware).
• SAP project tools (Transport & Release Management, Docupedia, Solution Manager, Eclipse).
• Code performance tuning, debugging and root‑cause analysis.
