Senior Software Architect

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Architect to lead the design and development of high‑quality, scalable software solutions across our global trading platforms. The role combines architectural vision with hands‑on coding to deliver robust, secure systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document target architecture blueprints for .NET Core microservices, React/React Native front‑ends, and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Guide design of high‑availability, low‑latency systems including API gateways, messaging, caching, and circuit‑breaker patterns.
• Establish observability standards such as structured logging, distributed tracing, metrics, SLOs and alerting.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, and proofs of concept, evaluating technology choices and trade‑offs.
• Advise on Kubernetes (AKS) strategies, containerization, container registries and deployment patterns (GitOps, blue‑green, canary).
• Define infrastructure‑as‑code standards, CI/CD pipeline architecture and DevOps tooling.
• Guide data architecture decisions across SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Databricks and data lake storage.
• Partner with Security and Compliance teams on security, regulatory requirements and audit‑friendly designs.
• Mentor senior engineers, architects in training and technical leads.

Required profile

• 7–14+ years of software engineering experience with significant architectural leadership.
• Proven track record designing and operating large‑scale distributed systems, preferably in fintech or mission‑critical domains.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex designs to technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to influence organizational standards and make trade‑offs between performance, cost and regulatory needs.

Required skills

• .NET Core microservices, Domain‑Driven Design, Clean Architecture, CQRS, event‑driven patterns.
• Azure services: App Services, AKS, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, Cosmos DB, SQL Database, Key Vault, Storage, Application Insights.
• Kubernetes/AKS cluster design, networking, security (RBAC, network policies), autoscaling, GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD).
• DevOps: Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Terraform, ARM templates, Docker, CI/CD patterns.
• Observability: structured logging, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Datadog.
• Security: OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, secrets management, encryption.
• Data architecture: SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Databricks, data lake, OLTP/OLAP, relational/NoSQL.
