Senior SharePoint Administrator (Lead)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SharePoint Administrator to lead the design, operation, and modernization of our enterprise SharePoint platform. You will own large‑scale farms, drive migration initiatives, and ensure high availability across development, QA, DR, and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support SharePoint farms of 50+ servers across multiple environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain high‑availability SharePoint solutions.
• Define operational standards, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Provide technical leadership for architecture, governance, and compliance.
• Lead hybrid and SharePoint Online adoption projects, integrating with Microsoft 365 services.
• Manage enterprise migrations from SharePoint 2013/2016/2019, legacy platforms, and file shares using ShareGate or AvePoint.
• Serve as escalation point for critical incidents and drive continuous service improvement.
• Develop PowerShell automation for health checks, access reviews, and reporting.
• Monitor performance, analyze logs, and implement security hardening and disaster‑recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Extensive experience administering enterprise SharePoint farms.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale migration and modernization projects.
• Strong analytical skills for performance tuning and incident root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• PowerShell scripting.

• Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Microsoft Search, Entra ID).

• SSL certificates, service account management, security hardening.
