About the role
We are looking for an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services using Java and Scala. The role focuses on building scalable micro‑services that power critical business applications across multiple locations in India.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement micro‑service architectures using Spring Boot and functional programming principles.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka.
- Work with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis) databases to ensure data reliability and performance.
- Containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes, and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to adopt cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk, and troubleshoot issues on Linux/Unix environments.
Required profile
- 8‑10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java (8 or later) and Scala.
- Proven ability to work with micro‑services, APIs, and event‑driven architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with containerization, orchestration, and cloud platforms.
