Senior Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join the team behind TutAR, a Kotlin‑based 3D whiteboard application for Interactive Flat Panels. You will own end‑to‑end feature development, from custom rendering to backend integration, in a fast‑moving product environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android features for TutAR.
• Close the feature gap with competing IFP applications.
• Improve performance, stability, launch time, crash rate and ANR metrics.
• Implement custom canvas rendering and interactive whiteboard functionality.
• Integrate Android client with backend APIs and services.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and ownership mindset.
• Comfortable working independently in a startup‑like environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Custom Views, Canvas, SurfaceView.
• Multi‑flavor Gradle builds, ProGuard/R8.
• Debugging and performance profiling (Android Studio Profiler, Perfetto).
• Git and code‑review workflows.
• OpenGL ES, Filament, GPU‑related development.
• JNI/NDK and native crash debugging.
• Coroutines, Flow, MVVM/MVI architecture.
• Experience with non‑standard Android ROMs.
• JavaScript or Node.js basics.
• Basic AWS knowledge.
