Senior Hardware Design Specialist for Controllers for Off Road Machines

About the role

The Senior Hardware Design Specialist will lead the development of controller hardware for off‑road machines, driving the complete hardware lifecycle from concept through production. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, automotive‑grade electronic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including module developers, schematic designers, and PCB layout teams, to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.
• Perform component selection, BOM preparation, thermal analysis, and SPICE simulations to validate designs.
• Lead board bring‑up, testing, and troubleshooting activities using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other measurement equipment.
• Prepare technical documentation such as hardware design documents, test plans, and test reports.

Required profile

• 4–10 years of experience in electronic hardware design and integration, preferably in automotive ECU development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering (BE/B‑Tech/ME/MTech).
• Senior level (L51/L52) background in power‑train or PS ECU hardware development.

Required skills

• Design of digital, analog, and power circuits.
• Hardware development for sensor and HMI products.
• Component selection, BOM creation, thermal calculations, and SPICE simulation.
• Board bring‑up, testing, and failure analysis (FMEA, FMEDA, PSS, CAR, 8D).
• Use of measurement tools: oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter, logic analyzer.
• Familiarity with eADM and DOORS requirements management tools.
