Senior Guidewire Integration Developer / Lead

About the role

Norima Consulting is expanding its Guidewire practice in India and seeks experienced Guidewire developers to deliver configuration, integration, and development work on insurance transformation projects. The role involves working directly with client environments to implement, extend, and optimise Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.
• Build and maintain integrations between Guidewire and third‑party systems such as billing providers, document management, and reinsurance platforms.
• Develop custom extensions using Gosu scripting, Java, and Apache Camel, and manage deployments on the Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to translate requirements into Guidewire configurations.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and produce technical documentation following Guidewire best practices.
• Support data migration activities, including mapping, validation, and transformation logic.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years overall experience with at least 3 years of hands‑on Guidewire development or implementation.
• Proficiency in Gosu scripting, Guidewire configuration, and product model development.
• Experience with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter or BillingCenter in live implementations or upgrades.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in client‑facing delivery teams.

• Guidewire certifications (ACE, Associate, Professional, Cloud Platform, Integration, Digital Portals).
• Java, Gosu, SQL.
• Apache Camel, CI/CD pipelines.
• REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth2.
• Messaging architecture (message plugins, transport plugins, retry handling, idempotency).
• Batch and file‑based integration, API mapping, Cloud API development.
